Returning a product under the WEEE Regulations.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

Disposing of equipment yourself

If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process.

You can locate your closest collection site by entering your postcode at www.recycle-more.co.uk

What products fall under WEEE Regulations?

As part of the WEEE regulations, all electrical and electronic goods produced after August 2005 that fall under WEEE regulations should be clearly marked with a crossed-out bin symbol which means they should not be included with household waste so that they can be recycled

As a responsible retailer we take all steps possible to ensure that our business meets all requirements of any EU & UK consumer protection laws, particularly the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other legislation specific to the products that we sell.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding this process, please contact us at aftersales@cyclesolutions.co.uk.

Merida eOne-Forty 400 SE 2024 -Electric Full Suspension MTB - Silver

Season:2024

Brand:Merida

Code:P-P830

The eOne-Sixty is the headline grabber of the Merida eBike range; for 3 generations it's been winning tests, gathering accolades and generally hogging the limelight! The eOne-Forty shares exactly the same frame and design features but has different ride characteristics. The shock stroke on the eOne-Forty is shorter, reducing rear travel to 133mm and creating a steeper seat angle. The shorter 140mm fork extends the reach, delivering a slightly steeper head angle. In combination these small changes make the eOne-Forty more agile and playful; a highly competent climber that's perfect for all day riding. The mixed wheel size set up is carried over, to give the e-full suspension bikes precise steering, fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour yet maximum traction, a 29er front wheel with a 2.5" tyre is combined with a 650B rear wheel, equipped with a slightly wider 2.6" tyre. The perfect combination of precision, playfulness and traction. All eOne-Forty models use the powerful Shimano 85NM motor and Shimano's e-Tube app allows you to tailor power delivery to suit your riding style; you can set two profiles; one for shredding and one for cruising.
